I work on Product & Design at Retool
in San Francisco.
Some things I've made:
Canadian System of Soil Science texture triangle visualizer. I used to study soils and I've always liked the relative representation of sand, silt, and clay.
Slightly more robust version of the physics engine that runs on this site. One of the last things I coded by hand and worked out the math; now it'd be a 2-minute vibe code.
Figma plugin to generate Retool themes from color variables.
Presentation I used to give about designing in Retool. Kind of useless without the speaker notes, but you may enjoy the screenshots of Retool apps that don't look horrible. I've also done a webinar on the topic, and built retool.studio to showcase the ideas in practice.
Exploration of how we might represent work being done by many agents communicating with each other and other systems of record, which I made while building Retool Agents.
Mostly I'm interested in human/computer interfaces, which AI is making interesting again (and which I don't believe are going anywhere even with all these agents).
